Intro to Internal Family Systems is 2 hour presentation that will explore The Internal Family Systems (IFS) model. The Internal Family System model is a framework for connecting clients to the misunderstood “parts” of themselves that are often the cause of presenting problems. This connection helps to reframe their unhealthy behaviors as well-intended strengths, rather than pathologizing them. This session is geared toward clinicians to introduce IFS as a trauma-informed intervention for clients of all ages.
